winemaker's notes
Deep purple/red in colour, intensely lifted nose, with a mixture of ripe mulberry, white pepper and nutmeg. The palate is balanced and generous with sweet berry fruit, and chocolate notes, while the grippy tannin adds to deliver a powerful wine that lingers nicely on the palate.
A rich, flavoursome and well balanced wine that may be enjoyed immediately, or cellared carfully for several years
