winemaker's notes
The 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon was sourced from the old vines which grow in the deep sand over weathered sandstone bedrock. The vines produce small bunches and are exposed to dappled light within the canopy. A mild growing season with a long gentle ripening has produced a wine with intensity and a long seamless finish. This single vineyard wine is unfiltered and matured for 18 months in French oak.
